link: - Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden

The Tate St Ives was opened in 1993 and combines many interesting displays of modern and contemporary exhibitions which are constantly changing – the building is also a work of art and overlooks Porthmeor Beach with stunning sea views from the galleries and the Café. Barbara Hepworth worked in Trewyn Studios – now the Hepworth Museum from 1949 until her death in 1975 and created many of her famous works there. Sculptures in bronze, stone and wood are on display in the garden along with paintings, drawings and archive material.
